Procedure

• Method A: X-cut test with two cuts intersecting at right angles.
• Method B: Cross-cut test with multiple cuts forming a lattice pattern.
• After cutting, a specified tape is applied firmly over the cuts and then removed at a controlled angle and speed.
• The amount of coating removed with the tape is visually rated according to a classification scale from 0 (no removal) to 5 (greater removal).
