Customization and Upgradeability
Topcon's Paradigm™ chip technology allows for complete customization of the receiver. Customers can select and activate options through Options Authorization Files (OAFs) to tailor the receiver to their specific needs. This approach ensures that customers only pay for the functionalities they require, with the ability to upgrade the system via computer code activation.

GB-1000 Features
The GB-1000 includes an LCD display and operation panel for checking satellite and receiver status, initializing RTK base operation, and managing static surveying operations. It supports advanced communication with USB, serial, and Ethernet connections, and includes a Compact-Flash memory card slot.

GB-500 Features
The GB-500 features a simple MINTER display with LEDs indicating satellite tracking, battery, and recording status. Both models support hot-swappable Li-Ion batteries for continuous operation and optional external power.
