The Series MKP-Bio pump is designed for aseptic applications in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, and food processing. It adheres to EHEDG recommendations and complies with VDMA 24432 and EN 12462 standards.
Main Features
- Vertically mounted magnetic drive pump with a patented drive system.
- Self-draining through the suction connection, eliminating the need for additional flush drain and vent connections.
- Internal bearing lubrication and gasket construction are deadspace free, following DIN 11864 standards.
- Specially designed flushing ensures excellent lubrication and cooling.
- Wetted components meet a minimum surface finish of 32ra, with other finishes available upon request.
- All wetted corners are radiused for complete drainability, and surfaces have a minimum 3° slope.
- Prevents microorganism entry from the atmosphere.
- CIP/SIP capable, reliable, and easy to assemble and reassemble without special tools.
- All wetted materials are FDA approved.
- Handles slurry content up to 10% with a maximum particle size of 0.03”.
Options
- Internal bearing options: tungsten carbide or diamond coated.
- Jacketed casing and temperature protection sensor PT-100 recommended for dry running protection.
- Double shroud system and special frame mounting available.
- Special O-ring materials (Viton®, EPDM, Silicone) and various suction/discharge connections (clamp, T-I-Live, flange, buttweld) available on request.
