WORKING PRINCIPLE Multiple round, parallel belts singulate the product to be sorted into perfectly aligned lanes. A camera and lasers inspect the top surface of the produce. The defects are ejected by an air puff upwards and collected on a take-out belt. By ejecting upwards, the good product is not disturbed nor subjected to damage caused by drops or high acceleration forces.
