The system is built on an ATX Mainboard with an Intel® Embedded Chipset, offering up to 7 expansion slots (PCIe/PCI/ISA). It includes a watchdog timer, RAID support (0/1/5/10), onboard graphics and audio, and Gigabit Ethernet or 10/100 Mbit/s connectivity.

Interfaces
The IPC provides 2 to 4 RS-232 ports, optional RS-422/485, 2 to 8 USB ports, 1 or 2 RJ-45 Ethernet ports, optional parallel ports, 2 PS/2 ports, VGA (optional DVI) graphics, and audio I/O for mic/line-in/line-out.

Construction Details
The dimensions are 360 × 370 × 160 mm, constructed from steel sheet with an aluminium/zinc alloy surface. It weighs approximately 10 kg and includes mounting bars. Cooling is provided by one 120 mm fan and two 60 mm fans.
