Overview
Thompson engineers have developed a series of high-pressure jet pumps, known as the Solids Handling Dry Prime Vacuum-Assisted (JSV) pumps. These pumps are designed to handle liquids with larger solids and more air than standard end-suction centrifugal pumps. The JSV pumps feature an increased impeller size and a Vacuum-Assisted Priming System, allowing them to pass large amounts of solids and automatically dry prime and re-prime.

Applications
- Construction: Suitable for wellpoint installation, pilings, seawall installation, equipment wash down, dewatering excavations, canals, and sumps, as well as extended sumping.
- Waste Treatment: Ideal for sewer bypasses, pumping mud or solids in suspension, force main pumping, dosing neutralizing liquids, and pumping out settled sludge.
- Industrial: Used for water jetting and blasting, piping system surcharging and pressure testing, waste pumping, flood drainage, fire fighting, and transferring clean or dirty liquids containing sand, mud, or solids in suspension.
- Mining: Applicable for wash-down operations, tailings, and high head/high volume applications.
- Agricultural: Useful for irrigation and dust abatement.
