Manual telescopic slides

Product catalog summary
Introduction
This manual provides guidance on the installation of telescopic ball bearing slides manufactured by Thomas Regout International B.V. It emphasizes the importance of correct installation for maximizing service life and offers contact information for further assistance.

General Specifications
The slides are produced in the Netherlands and are designed for various applications. The nominal overall dimension of the slide should be considered during installation, with a thickness of the slide plus 0.5 mm ± 0.25 mm. A minimum clearance of 5 mm behind the drawer is recommended.

Installation and Alignment
Accurate alignment of the slides is crucial to prevent them from working against each other. The handle should be mounted centrally on the drawer for optimal performance. Slides should be installed in a rigid construction and are tested for a maximum width of 600 mm. For wider drawers, consultation with the company is advised.

Load Capacity
Load capacities are indicative and depend on usage type: static (less than 10,000 cycles) and dynamic (up to 60,000 cycles). Factors affecting performance include load distribution, center of gravity, movement speed, slide length, and force against the end stop. Regular full extension of slides is recommended for optimal performance.

Fixation
Various fixation methods are available, and care should be taken to ensure screw heads do not interfere with slide movement. Recommendations for standard products are available on the company's website.

Environmental Considerations
Slides are corrosion-resistant but should be protected from high humidity, salts, and chemicals. Grease is applied for optimal performance, but contaminants can reduce its effectiveness.

Maintenance and Safety
The slides are maintenance-free. Safety precautions, such as wearing gloves, are recommended during assembly to prevent injury from moving parts.

Our slides perform best when mounted in a very rigid construction (furniture, device or installation). Do not use the drawer slides as a structural part of a construction. Handle The mounting position of the handle affects the performance of the slides. It is recommended that the handle be attached in the centre of the drawer (as shown).
