1INSTALLATION MANUAL FLEXFIT

Product catalog summary
Installation Manual Overview:
This document provides detailed instructions for the installation of FlexFit profiles, carriers, and rubber stops. It includes specifications, materials used, installation procedures, and maintenance recommendations.
Materials Specifications:
  • Carrier: Made from AISI 304 / 1.4301 stainless steel.
  • Wheels: Components include hardened AISI 440C / 1.4125 for inner and outer rings and balls, with a PA6.6 ball cage and NSF Class H1 grease.
  • Profile: Options include AISI 430 / 1.4016 stainless steel and galvanized steel S235JRG2 / 1.0038, resistant to zinc corrosion for up to 96 hours.
Installation Guidelines:
  • Ensure no pollution, vibration, or shock load during installation.
  • Center the load correctly to avoid torque issues.
  • Use dedicated tools for stainless steel profiles to prevent corrosion.
  • Optimal cutting length and cleaning (deburring) of the profile are essential.
  • Lubricate the profile-carrier contact with recommended lubricants like TRI lubrication or Cassida GTX2 for optimal performance and longevity.
  • Clean the profile every 60,000 cycles and renew lubrication.
Fastening Instructions:
  • Use M5 DIN 7991 bolts, tightening with a torque of 4-5 Nm.
  • Insert the rubber stop into the profile and secure with bolts.
  • Note: The rubber stop is designed for misuse situations, absorbing 25 Joules of energy up to 10 times, but not for continuous use as a rail stop over 100,000 cycles.
