Specifications:
1. The 4000 Custom Level Switch uses a PVC float, part number 3555, for the PVC model. It features a unique assembly procedure that suspends the reed switch to allow for thermal expansion and contraction.
2. Various lead lengths, cables, and terminated ends are available upon consultation with the factory.
3. Relays for higher electrical loads are available in the accessory section.
4. Grip rings are standard and free of charge, with optional collars available.
5. Special reed switches with a hysteresis of 1/4" are stocked.
6. The switch is available in multiple styles (1, 3, 4, 10) with specific mounting instructions and float part numbers.
7. Materials such as copper-nickel, titanium, hastelloy, and aluminum are available upon request.

Mounting Styles:
1. Style 1: Installs from inside the tank into a 1/2" NPT boss.
2. Style 2: Installs from outside the tank into a 1 1/4" NPT boss.
3. Style 3: Installs from outside the tank into a 2" NPT boss.
4. Style 4: Flange mounting from outside the tank onto a 3" ANSI flange.
5. Style 10: External tank mounting with options for bronze and stainless steel housings.
6. Style 11: Installs from outside the tank onto a 3" ANSI flange with specific bolt pattern requirements.

Construction and Materials:
1. The switch features unique taper joints that are solvent bonded for a strong fit.
2. All wetted parts are made of PVC, with custom interface floats available.
3. Adjustable mountings/stems are not available in PVC.
