Selection Procedure
Standard conditions are defined according to ENV 328, with nominal capacities related to specific air inlet and evaporating temperatures. Two selection methods are provided: a mathematical approach using a table (TAB. 1) and a software-based approach using Archimede selection software.

Example Calculation
For a required capacity of 12 kW at a cold room temperature of -20°C and a temperature difference of 7 K using R404A refrigerant and electrical defrosting, the nominal capacity is calculated to be 15.2 kW, corresponding to model PM 340.66 D6 E M.
