Application:
The CH6/SH6 series thermal protectors are designed for medium-sized standard electric motors that experience high short-circuit currents and require automatic resetting after overheating and cooling.

Design:
The H6 temperature limiting switches are based on Thermik's proven 06 series mechanism. The SH6 protectors have a reinforced contact system for higher currents. Versions include SH6 with an insulation cap and CH6 without.

Operation:
Upon reaching the rated switching temperature, the bimetallic disc snaps open the contacts. It resets to close the contacts after cooling below the resetting temperature.
