High Power Switch CA1 ; SA1 ; PA1 - 1

The favourite use of the T hermal P rotectors (TP) A1 ( n ormally c losed) is in electrical appliances where a reliable detecting of current and temperature is indicated. These applications can be motors, transformers, ballasts and other electrical equipment. The switch excels with a typical short tripping time. The TP characterizes its ability to stand high current load in spite of a small design. Therefore the ALHA 1 is able to switch the current directly in a disturbed condition of the application. The switch is impregnation resistant and is available in different connecting versions. > The switch has been created with a totally new design. It is equipped with a high capacity contact mechanism, wherein a current flowed frame spring ensures the necessary contact pressure. The contact mechanism can be produces fully automatically with a max. capacity of 10 Million pieces/year. Due to changing of particular parameters during manufacturing a short tripping time is realized. The bimetal disc is working under perfect conditions because of no current flow through the material. SA1 > Width b 10.8 mm Height h 5.1 mm Insulation Cap Versions: with lead wires with insulation cap SA1 ֖ without insulation cap CA! with connecting pins PA1 > Length l 32.5 mm If the rated switching temperature of the bimetallic disc is reached, it suddenly snaps and opens the contacts. Physical values which influence the tripping behavior are: heating of the current floated frame spring thermal transfer a combination of both After cooling down beyond its resetting temperature, the contact mechanism turns back in its initial position. > Big power density : High currents at small construction type Quick Response Sensitivity : Switch off less than 20 seconds Temperature Resistance : By use of high temperature resistant materials and components >
