Capacitance Welder for Hot JunctionsProduct Code: Description: SR-48 In order to provide reliable temperature measurement it is essential that SR-80 the thermocouple’s hot junction be formed in the correct manner by fusing the two legs of dissimilar material into an homogenous junction. There are several ways in which this can be achieved, but for simplicity, speed of operation and overall cost the SR Series of welding machines provides the ideal solution. The operation of the welding machine is based upon capacitance discharge, operating from a mains supply and there are two units in the range.
