Validation Type T Thermocouple Wire Product Code: TE-TCT The preferred method of temperature measurement for pharmaceutical validation purposes is the Copper/Constantan type ‘T’ thermocouple. • • • • • ALWAYS manufactured from type T thermocouple material conforming to IEC 60584-1:2013 class 1. This gives a tolerance of +/- 0.5°C across the range –40°C to 125°C PFA Extruded : Smooth, easy to clean. PFA Twisted: Easy thermocouple preparation. PTFE Lapped: Tightly wrapped insulation minimises capillary action. Kapton®: For high temperature applications such as depyrogenation. Wire is supplied in 100m lengths, and is Class 1 material and IEC colours.
