Hygenic Surface Probe HSP
- Material: The top and bottom clamps are made of 316 stainless steel, while the connecting studs and acorn nuts are made of 304 stainless steel. The grommet is silicone compliant with FDA 21CFR 177.
- Clamp Sizes: Available for common Imperial and Metric tube sizes.
- Connection Head: Made from white polypropylene or grade 316 stainless steel, featuring a screw cap and retention chain. It has a cable exit screwed M20 and an environmental rating of IP67.
- RTD Option Detector: Available in single or duplex with 2, 3, or 4 wire connections, Class ‘A’ or fractional DIN tolerance, compliant with BS EN 60751:2008.
- Operating Range: -50 to +150°C for both RTD and thermocouple options.
- Thermocouple Option Element: Single or duplex element, type ‘T’ (Cu/Con) in class 1 material, compliant with BS EN 60584-1:2013.
- Optional Extras: A temperature transmitter can replace the connection block for enhanced functionality.

Hygienic Surface Mounting Probe Description: The HSP temperature probe allows the monitoring of product temperatures on distribution lines in a non-invasive manner. The pipe clamping arrangement enables the rapid installation and removal of the unit to be made with ease. The threads of the connecting studs are fully enclosed within the clamps and the tops are sealed from the environment by the ‘acorn’ style nuts. The sensors are available in type ’T’ thermocouple or PT100 resistance thermometer format and the connection head can be supplied with a temperature transmitter for either safe or hazardous environments.
