Freeze Dryer Probe Description: When attempting to accurately measure the temperature of very small volumes of liquid product, a balance has to be achieved between accuracy and time response, due to the proportionately large mass of the sensor. The FD100 sensor assembly was designed to meet these particular requirements and utilises a miniature detector positioned such that the sensing face of the detector is in direct contact with the inside face of the probe tip. To ensure minimum thermal conductivity, the stainless steel probe tip is also thermally isolated from the main sensor stem. MAIN STEM single PT100 with 3 or 4 wire connection, Class ‘A’ tolerance to BS EN 60751:2008. PTFE insulated copper conductors, 7/0.16mm to ASTM B298 with a 250V RMS rating as standard and 3,000mm long.
