Identity & Biometric Solutions Product Description The Thales Fingerprint Scanner CSD101i is a single-digit fingerprint scanner that is housed in a durable compact casing. The advanced Thin Optical Touch sensor is immune to ambient light. User-Friendly Ergonomics Powered by USB 2.0, the connection allows for easy integration with new or existing applications. The durable, lightweight, and ergonomic design allows the CSD101i to be portable without compromising image quality. Two bright indicator LED lights help users to operate and place the finger at the appropriate time to avoid confusion. The Thales Fingerprint Scanner CSD101i performs onboard processing of the captured fingerprint image, as well as signing and encryption of the UIDAI specified Personal Identity Data (PID) block. FBI PIV-071006 Certified, it is ideal for network biometric authentication, authenticating biometric travel documents, and identity verification per the L1 level specification of UIDAI.
