Description Thermaltex cloth is made using special “HT” glass threads that are textured by means of a chemical purification treatment to type “E” glass thread, which increases the resistance to high temperatures of up to 700°C, while guaranteeing good mechanical resistance. Thermaltex cloth can be reinforced by means of stainless steel wire both in the warp and in the weft to offer high mechanical resistance. It can be distinguished from other HT cloth by its pink or light-blue colour. Thermaltex cloth can also be aluminium-foiled to reduce fraying when cut and to afford further protection from radiating heat, or otherwise silicone-coated to provide maximum protection against various types of liquids and welding splatter. with silicic acid dispersion treatment Applications Nautical, naval, motorbike and car industries, gas and steam turbines, steelworks, foundries, boilers, ship turbines, nuclear industry, industrial plants, petrochemical industry.
