Silica tape is an excellent insulator and does not irritate; it withstands continuous temperatures of 1200°C for short periods, does not vitrify and is recommended as an ecological alternative to ceramic braided products. Applications Protection against heat; cable winding; tubing insulation; ovens; stoves and chimneys; boilers; industrial magnets, motorcycle and car magnets.
