The 100, 250 and 2 000 litres open top powder hoppers are for manual de-bagging. Big bags can also be emptied into the 2000 litres hopper. The 350 litres powder hopper is designed for adding mediumsized amounts of powder to the vacuum mixer. It is a closed unit with CIP capability and connection for external dust extraction. Working principle Powders are loaded into the hoppers from the top. For the larger models, a platform is required. The powders are sucked into the mixer in a dense powder phase to minimise air incorporation. The vibrating motor prevents bridging and rat holes during powder intake.
