The sensor is permanently monitored and shows malfunctions or contamination in the display. The use of test leaks is thus superfluous. If dirty, the sensor can simply be cleaned, and is immediately ready for use again. The very high level of sensitivity of <3g/a according to EN 14624 allows the detection of the smallest leakages. The display changes from green to red when leaks occur. An audible signal additionally indicates detected leakages. With the earphone, testo 316 can also be used in loud The trend display shows maximum leakages and facilitates the localization of leaks.
