
The Testboy 15 and the Testboy 130 are particularly suitable for rapid and precise testing of electro-magnetic switches and valves. The method used for the measurement process has simplified the test procedures for all pneumatic and hydraulic systems significantly. It is possible to perform a functional test without any setting-up time or having to halt the machine. A magnetic field is created when power is applied to an electromagnetic switch, which the Testboy 15 and the Testboy 130 are able to detect. The tip lights up to indicate the presence of permanent or synthetic magnetic fields. The tester is so sensitive that it is often not even necessary to remove covers or trims. With this device it is possible to test relays and magnetic coils, contactors, valves and pumps. In addition to numerous industrial applications the testers are suitable for a wide variety of testing tasks in cars and commercial vehicles as well as in the heating and sanitation sector. Both testers are equipped with a permanent magnet for self testing. The Testboy 130 is equipped with an energy-saving, high performance LED torch that provides a very bright, white light. With the batteries supplied the Testboy 130 torch achieves a burn time of approx. 80 hours. Their compact design size means the testers can be carried in a shirt pocket for spontaneous use.
