Rod burster TERRA-HYDROCRACK (Pipe Renewal System) Pipe renewal system to renew gas pipes, water pipes or sewer lines. It cracks or cuts PE pipes, steel pipes, cast iron pipes or even ductile cast iron pipes from OD 50 mm up to 350 mm. New HDPE pipes up to OD 355 mm may be pulled in. The thrust and pullback force is 600 kN (60 tons) at a hydraulic pressure of 235 bar. For smaller applications, the TERRA MINI-JET and TERRA MINI-JET/LV are available, starting their drilling operation in a pit. The TERRA MINI-JET/LV can also be started from the surface. The TERRA MINI-JET produces thrust and pullback forces of 8 tons and torques up to 1600 Nm. As compact HDD systems they are unbeatable. All TERRA-JET models can be modified to the system TERRA-ROCK.
