The ML series of direct current motors are designed to meet advanced automation requirements. These motors feature a square laminated stator and use sheet steel for high efficiency and low losses.

Compliance
The ML series motors comply with Italian CEI 2-3 standards, international IEC 34-1 standards, and EU directives 89/392/CEE and 85/374/CEE for rotating electrical machines. Standard construction forms include:
  • IM 1001: Foot-mounted
  • IM 3001: Flange-mounted
  • IM 2001: Foot and flange-mounted
Special units can be designed per customer specifications. Protection grades available according to IEC 34-5 include:
  • IP 23: Forced ventilation, water jet protection up to 60°, typically for indoor use.
  • IP 44/54: Fully enclosed or externally forced ventilation, dust and water jet protection, suitable for dusty or humid environments.
  • IP 55: Fully enclosed, air/air or air/water heat exchanger cooled, dust and water jet protection.
Note: Risk of ice formation in ventilation systems if ambient temperature is below 0°C.

La gama de motores de corriente continua serie ML han sido disenados para cumplir con los requi- sites mas avanzados de alta automatization.
