RTMI SUB-ASSEMBLIES

RTMI SUB-ASSEMBLIES

Product catalog summary
Specifications:
The document details the specifications for Bayonet Tips (SS 316) used in mineral insulated (MI) sub-assembly PT100 resistance thermometers. These thermometers are designed for quick and cost-effective sensor assembly. The sheath material is 316 grade stainless steel, and the operating temperature range is from -50°C to +500°C. All MI RTDs are supplied in a 4-wire configuration with either Class A or Class B tolerance.

Product Details:
The document lists various part numbers with corresponding sheath diameters, lengths, tolerance classes, and prices in both Sterling and Euros. For example, the MIRTS-3-150-B has a 3mm diameter, 150mm length, and is priced at £14.10 or €18.33.

Pricing Structure:
The pricing structure is detailed for different sheath diameters and tolerance classes. Prices are given for a 100mm sheath, with additional costs per 10mm sheath length.

Assembly and Termination:
The assembly process involves fitting the part-built RTD into a handle or terminal head, eliminating the need for expensive welding equipment. Termination is done with an epoxy seal (100°C) and 20mm Nickel element tails for connection.

Calibration and Traceability:
Each probe is calibrated and marked with the Ω value at 0°C, manufacturing date, and traceability code.

Additional Information:
The document also mentions other sizes available, stock sizes, and specific details about the construction of the RTD sensing element, including the use of MgO cable and AL2O2 powder. It advises checking the website for the most up-to-date pricing information.
