Dual-function magnetizing mands for the magnetization in both directions of through-hole 95mm diameter Dual-function magnetizing mand This dual-function inductor is used to obtain the correct magnetizations of through-holes for the Magnetic Particle Inspection. A single component of the system performs two distinct functions: - Central conductor for the circular magnetization - Solenoid with laminated iron for the longitudinal magnetization This cylinder has three connectors that attach to the current generator. The first connector must always be connected; the center conductor is attached to the second connector; and the solenoid is connected to the third connector. The operator will connect the first two connectors to execute the longitudinal magnetization test; he will then switch the connection from the second to the third connector. The three connectors, the center conductor, the laminated iron, the solenoid, and the proper electrical insulation make up this system.
