SOLID STATE RELAYS The advantages Industrial Solid State Relays (ISSR) compared to Electromechanical Relays (EMR) are well known. ISSRs are fully electronic, with no moving parts inside; no audible noise, able to withstand significant vibration without operational issues, fast response time, but most important of all higher life-time expectancy. Used in optimal operating conditions, ISSRs have nearly unlimited life compared to EMRs, it also does not require any maintenance and prevents production downtime, which is a great advantage when continuous operation is necessary.
