Product catalog summary
Overview: The Teledyne API Model 651 is a network-ready ultrafine particle monitor designed for ambient air monitoring. It uses a patented water-based condensation particle counting technique to detect ultrafine particles, providing real-time continuous data.
Specifications: The Model 651 can detect particles as small as 7 nanometers and has a range of 0.001 to 106 particles/cm3. It offers a measurement averaging time from 1 to 3600 seconds and a response time of less than 3 seconds in high flow mode. The flow rate is adjustable between 0.6 lpm and 3.0 lpm.
Features: The instrument includes a color touchscreen interface, internal data storage, and supports communication via USB, Ethernet, and RS-232. It is designed for easy maintenance with a 30-day interval for routine tasks such as refilling the water supply and cleaning the inlet screen.
Maintenance and Support: Routine maintenance is straightforward, typically requiring 5-10 minutes. The instrument comes with a one-year warranty and lifetime customer support via phone and email.
Included Components: The Model 651 package includes an external vacuum pump, rack mount handles, sample inlet tubing, various ports and cables, an operations manual, and a quick start guide. An annual maintenance kit and optional PM inlet systems are also available.
Environmental and Physical Specifications: The instrument operates best in non-condensing environments between 10-38ºC. It measures 8” x 19” x 12” and weighs 22 lbs.
Ordering Information: For more details, customers are encouraged to contact Teledyne API or visit their website.

TELEDYNE ADVANCED POLLUTION INSTRUMENTATION A Teledyne Technologies Company TELEDYNE ADVANCED POLLUTION INSTRUMENTATION READY ULTRAFINE PARTICLE MONITOR - MODEL 651 WATER FILL Model 651 Ultrafine Particle Monitor The Teledyne API Model 651 is the first network-ready total ultrafine particle monitor for use in routine ambient air monitoring applications. The Model 651 instrument is designed to measure a wide spectrum of ultrafine particles found in ambient air, including the smallest ones found close to emissions sources. The instrument uses a patented water-based condensation particle counting technique which provides extremely small particle detection limits, as well as real-time continuous data availability. The particles enter the instrument through a standard inlet and are passed through a condenser tube where they are grown to a uniform size. Immediately following the condenser tube, the particles are focused through an inlet nozzle and individually passed through an optical chamber where they are counted. The user interface is simple and easy to use. Through the color touch screen interface, you can view the current operating parameters, real-time graphs, and obtain diagnostic information. Key operating parameters within the instrument are continuously logged to ensure accurate operation. This diagnostic information is stored in the internal data buffer. The instrument can be accessed through connection to a digital datalogging system or using the supplied remote communications software package installed on a personal computer. Routine maintenance is straight-forward and is typically performed on a 30 day interval. The primary maintenance items include refilling the water supply bottle, replacing the supply wick, and cleaning the mesh inlet screen.
