
The Latchtap gas control is designed for high ambient temperature environments and high throughput applications, initially developed for Gas Log applications. It features a thermoelectric safety system for quick shutdown if the pilot flame is lost. The valve operates manually from off to pilot and then to full on, with a 9-volt latching solenoid for control from full on to pilot positions. It can be operated via a rocker switch or an ultrasonic remote kit, making it suitable for areas without mains power and as a replacement for millivolt systems.
Options:Model LTATESA 001 features 3/8 NPT inlet and outlet, 7/16-24 UNS pilot connection, and operates at 6-9 VDC. It supports air flow rates from 10 to 140 l/hr at 2.5 mbar, with a minimum of 1100 l/hr.

The control can be used where a high ambient temperature is found and a high throughput is required. The safety system used in this control is a well proven thermoelectric system that gives a positive and fast shut down if the pilot flame is lost. The valve has manual operation from off to pilot only, for ignition, and then on to full on. A 9-volt latching solenoid is then operated to control the valve from full on to pilot only positions. The solenoid can be operated via a simple rocker switch or an off the shelf Ultrasonic remote kit. All of this makes it an ideal control system to use where mains power is not wanted in the fireplace. It can also be used to replace problematic millivolt systems.
