Application:

The Teddington Appliance Controls Combustion Valve integrates a tap, flame safety device, and precision thermostatic gas control, designed for a wide range of catering appliances.

Physical Description:

The COMSA body is made of aluminum or a combination of aluminum and brass, connected to the sensor by a copper capillary. Available with various inlet, outlet, and pilot arrangements to fit standard appliances. Capillary lengths are 762mm, 1219mm, and 1651mm.

Operation:

Operation involves pushing the spindle to clear the niting, rotating to the ignition position, and pushing the spindle again to allow gas to the pilot. Temperature settings are adjusted by further spindle rotation.

Operating Times:
  • Opening: 20 seconds maximum.
  • Closing: 60 seconds maximum.
Maximum Phial Temperature:
  • Cooking version: 315°C (600°F).
  • Space heating version: 60°C (140°F).
