The system is made by two parts : the Star System itself, that means the upper bracket fixed on the press brake (it can replace the possible already working manual brackets), and the Star Clamping, that means the intermediate/extension for the modular tools. The energetic connection run exclusively through the upper brackets (Star System) and for this reason the intermediates (Star Clamping) are completely independent one from the other. THE ADVANTAGE : without external distributing pipes neither interior connectors the operator is completely free to equip the machine following to the productive requirements. In fact the operator can take off one or more intermediates from the middle of the machine or from its sides : he can leave a free area to gain more space and work with boxes or related products, he can insert a long tool or any other equipment instead of the removed intermediates. In this way there are no limits for the operator and the press brake become the centre of simultaneous working stations with a set-up time reduced to the minimum. THE FUNCTIONING : the ejection of the intermediates is really easy : the operator have only to loosen the two screws of the Star System and take out the Star Clamping from the front. It is possible to take out as many intermediates as the work needs and the Star System will keep unchanged its properties : the system is able to recognize if the part that get in contact with it is a Star Clamping module or not. The clamping action is automatic when the Star System recognize the Star Clamping module, when the operator insert a tool or any other equipment he'll have to clamp it manually, fastening the two screws placed on each Star System bracket. THE ASSEMBLING : the assembling of the Star System, as for all the clamping systems made by TEDA, doesn't need any modification on the existing machines. It's enough to replace the upper brackets with the new brackets Star System and the intermediates with the Star Clamping, available in several different configurations to fit all the specific requests of the customers. The assembly of the system needs a machine standstill reduced to few hours, generally less than an half day. The line is completed by the installation of an individual pneumatic station complete with push buttons and safety devices, according to the "98/37/CE Machine Safety Standard ". HE OPERATOR IS COMPLETELY FREE TO EQUIP THE MACHINE FOLLOWING THE PRODUCTIVE REQUIREMENTS
