Tecsys’ TS600 Cellular Modem is a communication device with the innovation of 4G LTE Cat-4 and fallback technology for 3G and 2G systems, with support for bands B1, B3, B5, B7, B8 and B28. In addition to its innovation in the communication layer, TS600 possesses a dual-processor architecture, guaranteeing stability and the performance necessary for a professional use. The main application (software) operates on an ARM® Cortex™ – A7 (core processor), with 512MB RAM and expandable flash memory, while connectivity uses a second ARM® Cortex™ – A7 (RF core) processor dedicated just for the management of the connections to radio base stations and SIM cards control. The TS600 has a set of interfaces that make the product extremely flexible for several applications. Two 10/100 Ethernet interfaces (IEEE 802.3) are available, one of them for access to the complete configuration of the device via intuitive graphic interface (web interface), and the other which allows IP connections for data input and output. Dual RS-232 interface allowing serial communication with devices with this kind of connection. With a double slot for the use of two SIM cards, the TS600 guarantees the stability of operation, with fast and automatic switching between the operators, in addition to having a built-in GPS module, necessary for applications that use geolocation. TS600 modem versatility includes a range of applications such as employment in SCADA systems, solutions for telemetry, remote sensing and other M2M applications that need broadband connectivity.
