BATTERY CHARGER Experts since 1985 in the conversion of electric energy, for powers ranging from 50 to 3000 watts, TECSUP offers small, lightweight, silent and ready-to-use switchmode battery chargers. Conceived for a consistent charge rate, the MICRO-TEC is perfectly suitable for all the “custom embedded” applications (boats, motor homes, ambulances…) and sectors for which charging safely and correctly is essential (security, street signs, lighting…). MICRO-TEC 12 V / 06 A - 12 V / 10 A - 24 V / 05 A 1 or 2 outputs Easy to use • Easy to install with connecting cables pre wired. • Horizontal or vertical installation. • The MICRO-TEC allows the battery to be connected and used constantly, while still offering a real BOOST (high voltage) charge over short period. The charger switches back to top-up mode automatically. • Frontal display (Led): - Red: Boost / Absorption - Green: Floating Safety • Extruded and anodized aluminium housing. • Smart protection against water: air inlet located at the bottom, outlet at the back of the charger. • Ingress Protection IP 54. • Electronic protection against: power surges at input & short circuits at charger output, battery discharge in the events of mains failure. • Protected against accidental polarity inversion, by an external automotive type fuse. • CE conformity. • Electromagnetic compatibiliy (E.M.C.) EN 50081-1, EN 50082-1, EN 55022 class B. • User safety: NF EN 60335-1 and EN 60335- 2-29. Connexions • AC connexion via IEC socket or pre wired 3 pin AC plug (1.80m). • DC connexion via flyleads (1.80m) terminated with 8 mm dia. crimp terminal. Specifications • Three-states charging curves: - BOOST / Fast charge: restores 80% of battery capacity in the shortest possible time. - ABSORPTION / Top up charge: brings the battery up to 100% capacity without causing excessive gassing or boiling. - FLOATING / Maintenance charge: maintains the battery at its optimum operating voltage without causing gassing. The charger will make up for internal loss and drain, present in every battery. • IUU charging curves for 2 different types of batteries: lead open, sealed (AGM, Gel). • Curve selection with an external jumper.
