GEOTECNICA CEOLOGIA IDROGEOLOGIA METEOROLOGIA Ultrasonic immersed velocity sensor for liquids The 11-Velocity Doppler is an advanced liquid velocity sensor based on ultrasonic technology, designed for hydraulic applications where precise and reliable flow velocity measurements are required. This sensor operates fully immersed in the fluid, providing bidirectional measurements within a range from 10 mm/s to 5 m/s, with a resolution of 1 mm/s. It is ideal for a wide variety of applications, including wastewater management, open channel monitoring, environmental observation, and drainage systems. The minimum operating immersion of just 30 mm allows the sensor to function effectively even in shallow water conditions. A key feature of the 11-Velocity Doppler is its ability to automatically correct measurements based on the liquid’s temperature, dynamically compensating for changes in the speed of sound within the fluid to maintain high measurement accuracy under all thermal conditions. Galilei, 7A/2 35037 TEOLO (PD) The sensor communicates via RS485 interface with Modbus RTU protocol, supporting both direct interrogation by a datalogger and scheduled data updates. This makes it perfectly suited for integration into existing industrial or environmental monitoring systems.

This system continuously analyzes hydraulic conditions in real time and automatically adjusts the sensor’s operating modes, optimizing signal acquisition times to ensure that each measurement is based on a consistent and reliable amount of information. The signal quality is constantly monitored by the device and made available as a diagnostic metric. Additionally, the sensor generates velocity histograms and signal profile data, which are essential...
