Utilizing advanced 80 GHz radar technology, the device can measure the distance between the sensor and the water surface with exceptional accuracy—up to ±2 mm—regardless of variations in air temperature or density. One of the key features of this sensor is its high sampling rate, which reaches up to 10 samples per second, allowing for reliable and in-depth wave analysis. The device includes an internal wave parameter processing module capable of real-time calculation of important values such as significant wave height, zero up-crossing period, crest period, as well as minimum, maximum, mean, and median water levels.
