TECNOPENTA MEASURING GEOTECNICA CEOLOGIA IDROGEOLOGIA METEOROLOGIA Digital Inclinometer Probe The Gl-SINC digital inclinometer system consists of: - Biaxial digital inclinometer probe with MEMS sensor - Bluetooth interface unit integrated into the cable reel - 50 m cable with electroplated copper markers - Ghibli data acquisition software - Reference probe complete with 50 m cable - Wellhead cable clamp to ensure correct positioning - Processing software (optional) - Pre-configured computer (optional) Inclinometric data is acquired and digitized directly inside the probe and transmitted to the surface via digital communication. The cable reel houses a Bluetooth transmitter. Data conversion is performed at 22-bit resolution, allowing a precision of l/20000-sin(a). The probe also integrates a temperature sensor. The reference probe has mechanical characteristics similar to the inclinometer probe but is sensor-free. It is used to verify the accessibility of the inclinometer casing and is supplied with a cable graduated every meter. The reference probe must differ from the measuring probe in some key aspects: it should fit more easily into the casing in the event of defects. The reference probe provided by Tecnopenta is longer, heavier, and equipped with smaller wheels than the measuring probe.
