Overview: The document provides technical specifications and features of three models of sprue pickers: SPARK, PIRANHA, and PELIKAN. These manipulators are designed to extract sprues from moulds, ensuring automatic separation and immediate recycling of materials.
Model Specifications:- SPARK: Utilizes pneumatic movements to reduce costs. The vacuum kit is optional and cannot be used with the sprue gripper simultaneously. Gripper rotation is optional, and the model has six fixed programs. Sprues are released outside the machine gates.
- PIRANHA: Features brushless servomotors for all movements. The vacuum kit is standard and can be used with the sprue gripper. Gripper rotation is standard, and programming is flexible. Sprues are released outside the machine gates.
- PELIKAN: Also uses brushless servomotors and is suitable for small presses. The vacuum kit is standard and can be used with the sprue gripper. Gripper rotation is standard, and programming is flexible. Offers an optional telescopic vertical axis. Sprues can be released inside the press gates.
Common Features:- PIRANHA and PELIKAN: Both models have axis movements via three brushless servomotors, rapid input/output movements, low energy consumption, and easy free guided programming. They include a remote control keypad with a 7” touch screen, USB storage for work programs, and options for movement interpolation and simultaneous extraction of sprues and pieces.
- All Models: Feature a sturdy mechanical structure, movements on prismatic guides with recirculating ball bearings, and are fitted above the fixed plate of the injection moulding machine. They are easy to use, allow sprue release on both operator and opposite sides, and can work with moulds with a third plate. Lateral rotation of the manipulator facilitates mould assembly.
