This device has been designed to withhold the hydraulic pressure coming from the 5G and 5H series hydraulic power unit. The use of SV valves is, therefore, subjected to the use of a power unit just mentioned (review the technical documentation of hydraulic power units). The particularly high ratio of pre‐charge to intervention pressure (up to 1:5) allows the use extremely low pre‐charge pressure inside the hydraulic cushions, and consequently, reducing induced stresses on the cushion themselves.
