Product catalog summary
Overview
The Tebis module for multiple setup enhances the separation of NC programming from setup planning, allowing for independent scheduling and organization of these processes. This flexibility accommodates various setups, such as grid plates, tombstones, or large machine tables with multiple parts.

NC Programming
NC programming is conducted independently from machining, utilizing Tebis NC automation to program electrodes, trim and coining steels, and production parts. This separation allows specialists to focus on programming without immediate concern for the machining process.

Setup Planning
Components are combined into a single setup when machining is scheduled. The graphical representation aids in determining the correct positioning and managing clamping situations. This ensures efficient use of tombstones, grid plates, or the entire machine table.

Tools and Reference Points
Toolpaths can be sorted for fast machining or high accuracy, and linked into one NC program. Tebis provides an overview of required tools and supports the use of multiple reference points for precision and efficiency.

Flexibility and Safety
Part changes can be updated with a single click, maintaining timelines. The Tebis Simulator checks machine movements for collisions, ensuring safety and reliability.

Advantages
  • Independent NC programming from manufacturing.
  • Maximized machine run times through optimal setup arrangements.
  • Reduced machine setup time with efficient clamping systems.
  • Standard templates minimize errors and accelerate planning.
  • Flexible optimization directly at the machine to avoid delays.

Suitable Modules
The Tebis Multiple Setup is supported by CAD/CAM, CAM, Simulator, and Organizer stations.

Multiple setup-1

Multiple setup Easy setup of multiple parts The Tebis module for multiple setup facilitates the separation of NC programming and setup planning. NC programming can now be performed at a different time and organized separately from Multiple Setup mechanical manufacturing. Do you use grid plates, tombstones, or multi-changers, or do you simply use your large machine table with several parts? With Tebis, all situations are under control, and changes to the geometry – even just prior to manufacturing – are no problem. And you don't need to be an expert in programming to define multiple setups. NC programming Completely separate from the simultaneous machining later, your specialists use proven methods to program electrodes, trim and coining steels, production parts or any other parts. This is now all possible thanks to Tebis NC automation. Setup planning The individual components are combined in one setup only when the actual machining is scheduled. Thanks to the graphic representation, you are able to quickly determine the correct position, or to position to the part reference point determined at the machine. Load tombstones and grid plates or utilize the entire table of your portal milling machine. Clamping situation and clamping elements are under control. Tools and reference points Sort the toolpaths according to your needs – for fast machining by tool, or by part when a high degree of accuracy is required in the machining area – and link the individually programmed toolpaths into one NC program. Tebis provides you automatically with an overview of the tools required for loading. If you need to work extremely accurately, or if you have extended traversing paths at your machine or long machining times, you may use multiple reference points. Flexibility and safety Part changes just before starting the manufacturing process? A single click of a button updates the changed part program and you stay on target with your time line. Must edit the cutter compensation when machining trim and coining steels? Reload the part – your NC programmers can continue to do their job, without interruption. Use the Tebis Simulator to also fully check all machine movements for collisions and to exclude even final imponderabilities. Advantage Utilize the know-how and the expertise of your machine operators for your setup planning. The essential benefit of Tebis is the temporally separate and independent NC programming. Your components are processed consequently.
