ELECTRON® SCS Electrical Insulating Gasket Description: The Electron® SCS insulation and sealing gasket is composed by a double rail serrated 316 SS core, faced on both sides with restructured PTFE, Tealon™. Electron® SCS includes glass reinforced epoxy (G-10) insulation sleeves (1 per stud), G-10 insulation washers (1 per stud) and galvanized carbon steel washers (2 per stud). Its robust design aims to meet both sealability and electrical insulation requirements for industrial pipelines. Application: Electron® SCS Gasket is designed to meet the most demanding technical requirements, even when subjected to extreme pressure conditions or exposure to chemically aggressive fluids. It is recommended for water pipes (sea and waste), gases, acids and hydrocarbons in general.
