Tooling Components Overview
This document provides specifications for two types of tooling components: Soft Clamps and Serrated End Clamps. Each type is detailed with material specifications, finishes, and specific use cases.
Soft Clamps
- Material: Made from mild steel, allowing for easy modification.
- Finish: Black oxide finish for corrosion resistance.
- Specifications: The table lists various part numbers with dimensions and weights. For example, Part No. 30701 has a stud size of 6, dimensions of 1-1/8 x 3/4 x 2, and weighs 120 lbs per 100 pieces.
Serrated End Clamps
- Material: Constructed from 1018 steel and case hardened for durability.
- Finish: Black oxide finish.
- Usage: Designed for use with workpiece fixtures that incorporate step blocks. The serrated teeth are compatible with all TE-CO step blocks.
- Specifications: The document provides both English and Metric dimensions. For instance, Part No. 30501 has a stud size of 2-1/2, dimensions of 1 x 1/2 x 13/16, and weighs 23 lbs per 100 pieces. Metric dimensions are also provided, such as Part No. 30501M with dimensions of 64 x 25 x 13 mm and the same weight.
