Product catalog summary
Overview
The document provides technical specifications and operational guidelines for the V Series Relief Valves, specifically types V/60, V/50, and V/20-2. These valves are designed to maintain line pressure below preset values by releasing gas when necessary, ensuring safety and efficiency in both civil and industrial applications.
Specifications and Features
  • Materials: The body and cover are made of aluminum, valve seats of brass, and diaphragms and gaskets of NBR nitrile rubber.
  • Pressure Ratings: V/50 allows up to 4 bar, V/60 up to 2.5 bar, and V/20-2 up to 100 bar.
  • Temperature Range: Standard working temperatures are from -10°C to +60°C, with a low-temperature version available from -20°C to +60°C.
  • Applications: Suitable for natural gas, manufactured gas, air, propane, and other gases without high benzol content.
Installation and Operation
  • Relief valves are installed downstream of regulators and release gas into the atmosphere at a specified height.
  • Valve efficiency is unaffected by installation direction, and the gas release pipe diameter must match or exceed the valve outlet diameter.
  • Valve settings are adjusted by modifying spring compression, with recommended settings at least 15% higher than the equipment's working pressure.
Flow Rate Curves
The document includes flow rate curves for each valve type, illustrating the relationship between setting pressure and flow rate in standard cubic meters per hour (Stm3/h).
Maintenance and Adjustments
  • Valves are designed for easy installation and maintenance.
  • Spring replacement is necessary for changing the setting range in V/20-2 models.

V Series Relief Valves V/50 and V/60 Series Spring-Loaded Relief Valves The spring-loaded relief valves are designed to keep line pressure below preset values. They are mounted downstream of regulators and perform the specific function of releasing small amounts of gas in the event of the regulator not closing perfectly. Thanks to their effective release capacity and compact size, the V/ series relief valves are ideal for use in civil and industrial equipment. The valves are extremely easy to install and are designed for ready and easy maintenance. The V/50 and V/60 series relief valves are especially...

V Series Relief Valves V/20-2 Model Spring-Loaded Relief Valves The V/20-2 relief valves are designed for use at medium and high pressures and cover a wide range of setting values (1.5 to 40 bar). To change setting, simply replace the spring with the one appropriate for the desired value. Operation Whenever gas pressure under pad (O) is higher than the force exerted by spring (M) in the opposite direction, pad older device (P) is raised, thereby causing the release orifice to open. G Setting is carried out by adjusting the compression of spring (M) through the appropriate ring (G). It is recommended...
