Product catalog summary
Overview: This document provides detailed specifications and descriptions of various material handling brushes offered by Tanis Brush. It includes information on brush construction, core systems, and specific product lines such as conveyor cylinder brushes, guide rail brushes, and table top brush panels.
Brush Core Construction: The document outlines the construction of brush cores, emphasizing the importance of precise cylinder brush core constructions for excellent brush concentricity. Core diameters are customizable, and larger brushes require stronger cores. Shafts can be machined to customer specifications, and dynamic balancing is available for specific applications.
Standard Core Systems: Three core systems are described: 1) Solid stainless steel or steel shafts with journal ends, recommended for shaft sizes between ½" to 2". 2) Stainless steel or steel tubing with press-fit journal ends. 3) Stainless steel or steel tubes with end collars for slower speed applications.
RB Series Conveyor Cylinder Brushes: These brushes are coil wound with polypropylene bristles and mounted on a steel tube with collar ends for easy mounting. They are effective for cleaning conveyor belts, debris removal, and product positioning.
Conveyor Guide Rail Brushes: Two types are mentioned: slide-on strip brushes and heavy-duty bumper brushes, both using natural nylon fill material.
Adjustable Conveyor Belt Series: Designed for light conveyor cleaning and product positioning, these brushes are compatible with conveyors 11" to 29" wide. They feature stainless steel components and polyester filament, suitable for food and pharmaceutical industries.
Table Top Brush Panels: These panels support flat surfaces and prevent damage to delicate surfaces. They are used in various industries, including sheet metal fabrication and wood finishing. The document lists various sizes and specifications for these panels.
Product Specifications: Detailed tables provide specifications for each product, including part numbers, dimensions, and materials used.

MATERIAL HANDLING BRUSHES Brush Core Construction Precise cylinder brush core constructions provide excellent brush concentricity. The brush core constructions are illustrated below. Core diameters have no limitations. A larger brush will require a stronger core designed for the application. Shafts can be machined to customer specifications; however weight is a factor in the final assembly. Since most coils are welded directly to a tube or shaft, end rings can be machined to make a better cosmetic appearance or leave the weld and channel exposed for a more economical finish. Coil wound cylinder...
