Power distribution unit for test equipment TAME-TEST TRONICO DESCRIPTION The 2U Rack Units Single-phase power distributor developed by Tame-Test mainly provides power to the electrical and electronic test instruments racked inside the 19-inch cabinets. It is designed to supply European standard 230 Volts (50Hz) AC, the plug-in PDU has also 24 V DC terminals designed for the low power devices. The PDU comes with all necessary features to ensure the safety of people and the powered equipment as well. The PDU includes a sequential startup used to limit current draws by powering 3 groups of 4 outlets one by one. The PDU is equipped with two dry contact thermostats inputs to control the temperature in the test benches, allowing a pre-alarm and a total shutdown of all output outlets. An Emergency Power-Off (EPO) button is placed in the front panel to disconnect the PDU from the main power source for safety matters.
