TITANIUM TUBING

TITANIUM TUBING

Product catalog summary
Titanium Tubing: β-Titanium Probes
Material Properties:
  • Elasticity: β-Titanium exhibits good elasticity, contributing to its durability and shape recovery.
  • Magnetism: β-Titanium is non-magnetic, making it ideal for use in systems that involve magnetic particles, such as immunoassay systems.
  • Corrosion Resistance: β-Titanium has excellent corrosion resistance compared to stainless steel.
Key Features:
  • Non-bending Piercing Probe: The probe is designed to resist bending, enhancing its longevity.
  • Non-magnetic: The absence of magnetism is particularly beneficial for analyzers using magnetic particles.
  • Finely Polished Titanium: The fine bore polishing (minimum Ra 0.02) minimizes sample carryover, reduces system flushing time, and decreases sample loss.
Comparison with Stainless Steel:
  • β-Titanium probes have superior shape recovery characteristics, high tensile strength, and superior spring characteristics, leading to a longer life expectancy than stainless steel probes.
Additional Information:
  • Probes are made to order, and further details can be obtained by contacting Takasago Electric, Inc.

TITANIUM TUBING-1

TITANIUM TUBING β-Titanium Probes Non-bending and Absolutely Non-magnetic Features 1. Non-bending piercing probe Long-lasting due to its shape recovery characteristics with respect to bending (high tensile strength and superior spring characteristics), which contributes to longer life expectancy compared to stainless steel probes. Shape recovery Non-magnetic Having absolutely no magnetism makes it particularly suitable for analyzers that use magnetic particles, like an immunoassay system. Finely polished titanium The fine bore polishing (Ra 0.02 at minimum) reduces the carryover of samples (especially proteins), system flushing time and sample loss. Comparison with Stainless Steel Elasticity Corrosion resistance Made to order. Please contact us for more details.
