Connectors must conform to specifications, and cosmetic defects like dirt and improper markings are rejected.
Handling precautions include avoiding mechanical shock, using specific solvents for cleaning, and preventing corrosion. Installation guidelines emphasize protecting the polarizer and avoiding stress on the module.
Measures to prevent electrostatic discharge include grounding and maintaining appropriate humidity levels.
Soldering guidelines specify temperature, time, and solder type, with recommendations to protect the LCD surface during soldering.
(1) Adjust the liquid crystal driving voltage (VO) to optimize viewing angle and contrast.
(2) Avoid driving the LCD above the voltage limit to prevent reduced lifespan.
(3) Response time may be delayed at temperatures below the operating range, but normal function resumes when temperature stabilizes.
(4) Pressing the display area during operation may cause temporary abnormalities, which can be resolved by restarting the device.
(5) Condensation on terminals can disrupt circuits; maintain conditions at 40°C and 50% RH.
(6) Ensure voltage stability before inputting signals when powering on.
(1) Store LCDs in sealed polyethylene bags without desiccants if properly sealed.
(2) Keep in a dark place, away from sunlight or fluorescent light, at temperatures between 0°C and 35°C.
(3) Avoid contact with the polarizer surface; use original shipping containers.
(4) Do not store for more than 168 hours at 80°C or 48 hours at -30°C.
(1) Crush and wash damaged LCDs with solvents like acetone and ethanol, then burn them.
(2) Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water if contact with liquid from a damaged cell occurs.
TPS offers a one-year warranty for functionally defective LCD modules, with cosmetic defects returnable within 90 days. Warranty covers repair or replacement but excludes consequential damages.
No warranty if precautions are ignored, such as broken glass or modified circuits. Repairs are invoiced upon agreement, and modules must be returned with a failure description. Customer-installed connectors or cables must be removed without damaging components.
