Refacing accessories standardize the working surface of abrading wheels for repeatable results. Specimen plates are manufactured from a variety of materials, and provide a convenient substrate for evaluating coatings and other materials. Standardization plates are manufactured to stringent requirements and used to ensure the abrasion rate of specific Genuine Taber abradants. Auxiliary weights are added to the mass of the abrading arm to provide standard loads of either 500, 750 or 1000 gram per wheel, a counterweight kit can reduce this load up to 175 gram.
