The typical sound level of operating a Taber Abraser and its vacu- um system can reach 78dB. Utilizing sound deadening materials, the Quiet Cabinet reduces this level up to 20%. The result is anoise level comparable to a standard office environment, andenables a normal conversation to be conducted in the vicinity of the testing.
