Overview of MCR Series Multichannel Recorders
The MCR Series consists of 4-channel battery-operated data loggers capable of being linked up to 4 units for simultaneous recording of up to 16 channels. The MCR-4V model specializes in rapid and precise voltage measurements with a minimum recording interval of 2 milliseconds and a resolution of 10 V. The MCR-4TC model supports a variety of thermocouple sensors, enabling wide-range temperature measurements.
Wireless and Network Monitoring Solutions
T&D offers wireless and network-connected solutions designed for comprehensive monitoring of food preparation, transportation, storage, and service environments. These systems provide automatic warnings to ensure food quality and safety without incurring monthly fees.
Data Collection and Transmission
Data recorded by RTR-601 and RTR-502 loggers is periodically collected by a Base Unit (RTR-500NW/500AW) via wireless communication. The Base Unit automatically sends the data to preset email addresses or FTP servers. The RTR-500MBS-A model extends this capability by transmitting collected data over cellular networks to FTP servers or emails, ideal for temperature management during transport.
Portable Data Collection
The RTR-500DC is a handheld data collector that displays collected data graphically on its LCD screen, allowing immediate on-site data verification.
Multi-Parameter Measurement Capabilities
Some loggers can simultaneously measure temperature, humidity, illuminance, UV, and CO2 levels. Users can select between USB connection types (TR) or wireless connection types (RTR) for flexible installation and remote data management.
Key Features and Benefits
Applications
These systems are particularly suited for food industry applications, including monitoring during preparation, transportation, storage, and service to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Recommendations and Best Practices
Users should leverage the modularity of the MCR series to scale channel capacity as needed. Wireless communication and automatic data transmission reduce manual data handling and improve monitoring efficiency. Selecting appropriate sensor types (voltage, thermocouple, environmental parameters) ensures accurate data collection tailored to specific monitoring needs.
