4 Comfort Air curtains are, above all, a comfort device and are a natural complement to ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems. Open doors stand for a considerable amount of the energy loss in a building. This loss is due to the difference in pressure and temperature between outside and inside in addition to the wind forces on the door opening. A correctly installed air curtain can reduce the loss through the door as much as 90 %.
